FLORA is a green beauty line handcrafted in small batches in Kingston, New York, in the Hudson Valley. Based on the ancient art of perfume, we use botanicals, pure essential oils, and all natural ingredients to capture the luxury of essence. Our products are organic, ethically-sourced, cruelty-free and vegan. We use no parabens, phthalates, or synthetics.
Perfumes can be traced back to ancient cultures. Historically plant-based, their ingredients ranged from flowers to resins to woods. Scents were so important that many associated them with the gods. FLORA honors this tradition with their line of natural, artisanal beauty treatments for hair, face and body, crafted utilizing the highest-quality ingredients, selected without limitations of cost.
The line was founded by Janette Bower through her studies in aromatherapy, perfumery, green medicine and psychology. For the past 22 years, Janette has worked in fashion and has owned and run beauty boutiques in lower Manhattan. Her work and studies led her to begin crafting her own uniquely-formulated beauty line, taking her knowledge of wellness and transforming it in a direction of luxury. She encourages people to be mindful of what is used on their bodies and to embrace the benefits of natural beauty.
